MERRI

Life is for
doing.

Painting outside on the grass, paints beside her

MERRI is an Australian brand for people who'd rather be doing something than watching something.

We make things that get you off the couch and into your own life. Our first is a box, posted monthly. It won't be the last.

What we're about

The best parts of your life are things you did.

Nobody looks back fondly on an evening of scrolling. We're not here to make anyone feel guilty about it — the phone is easy, and easy wins when you're tired.

Our job is to make the alternative just as easy. Something already on the table. Everything you need, in one place, with nothing to look up first.

That's the whole brand. More things worth doing, put within arm's reach of the people who want to do them.

MERRI is a verb

Make. Cook. Read. Grow. Wander. Build. Write. Play. Try. Fail. Laugh. Repeat.

The one rule

You don't have to be any good at it.

This isn't self-improvement. Nothing here needs tracking, optimising or turning into a side hustle. The pot can come out crooked. The bread can come out flat.

It still counts. It was your evening, and you spent it doing something instead of watching someone else do it.

What we make

Today, one thing. Deliberately.

The hero product

The Offline Box

A new theme. A beautiful magazine. Things to make, read, cook, grow and try. Plus an ongoing story you help write. Everything you need arrives in the box — and you never know what’s coming next.

2020 — 2026 · Connected AU is becoming MERRI

We spent six years learning what people actually need.

We started in 2020 as Connected AU, when a lot of Australians were on their own. We assumed connection meant people. For plenty of members it did.

For plenty of others it was a garden, a novel, a Saturday of cooking, a craft they hadn’t touched since school. Connection means something different to everyone.

The through-line wasn’t company. It was having something worth doing, and the small push required to actually start.
